Stackable Master of Education (MEd) Programs

For teachers who go the extra mile.

Earn multiple VDOE endorsements in one program.

Masters of Education with Stackable Credentials

Education is changing. Students need more support, schools need more specialized expertise, and educators are being asked to lead in new ways. Your graduate degree should do more than check a box. It should help you become more prepared, more versatile, and more confident in the direction you want your career to go.

Lynchburg’s stackable credential model allows you to combine areas of study within one Master of Education program, helping you earn multiple credentials recognized by schools and districts throughout Virginia.

You can shape your program around the areas where you want to grow: gifted education, instructional design and technology, reading science, school administration and supervision, and special education.

Multi-endorsement Options

Work toward one or more VDOE endorsements.

When you earn multiple credentials, you broaden the ways you can contribute to your school community. You’ll be better prepared to support students with different learning needs, take on new instructional responsibilities, collaborate across teams, or pursue roles that require specialized expertise.

For many educators, a multi-credential MEd is also a smart investment. By earning two endorsements within one program, you can save thousands on tuition while building credentials that can open more doors throughout your career.
