The Emergency Management and Global Health concentration includes an intensive in-person experience. It’s a rigorous, yet exciting 7-to-10-day session at our 490-acre nature preserve, where you’ll apply your learned skills in emergency management and global health, readying you for real-world application in challenging environments.


This immersive training sharpens your abilities as an administrator and clinician in emergency management and global health, allowing you to apply your entire educational journey in a practical, complex emergency response and disaster management environment. By the end of the course, you’ll be able to lead in emergencies, disaster responses, and global health, positioning you for leadership roles in these critical fields.


The course is held in the week before Commencement, so you'’re able to complete the program and stay for Commencement, with only one or two extra days.

**This program is not an entry-level doctoral program. PAs interested in this program must have previously completed all their PA professional education, completed a master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution, and successfully passed the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam (PANCE).
