Program Overview
The MBA in sport management program starts by teaching graduate students advanced business principles in finance, operations, human resource management, information systems, and ethics, providing important skills needed to manage and lead in business.
Then students learn how to apply what they’ve learned in the context of athletics. The coursework provides students with commercial law-related topics (like contract negotiation); financial accounting principles, including budgeting techniques; and marketing strategies tailored to different levels, from colleges to international sports organizations.
Lynchburg’s Dedication to Academic Quality
Big opportunities are born in small classes. This philosophy applies to our online programs as well. We limit the size of our online classes intentionally, so you’ll have better access to faculty and other resources. Our faculty are experts, teachers, and mentors. Your courses are not taught by graduate assistants, but by the same expert, full-time faculty who teach on campus at the University of Lynchburg.
We don't outsource your education to third parties with no expertise — we handle all aspects in house!
