Small Classes

We believe big ideas are born in small classes. Professors at Lynchburg will know your name, who you are, and what makes you tick. Making your education better.

Does class size matter?

Well, it depends on how you look at it. If you think:

  • Classes taught by grad students are just the norm.
  • It's OK if my professor doesn't have time to answer my questions.
  • Your professor is just a teacher, not a lifelong friend and mentor.

Then, no.

We think our professors are pretty darn important (and they’re the best, too, if you ask us). Professors help you find internships, write recommendations for graduate school, and are the most important thing when it comes to you getting a quality education.

And, these relationships can last a lifetime. We actually have faculty who presided over their former students' weddings.

So, when it comes down to it,

doesn't this

make more sense than this?

doesn't this
