What makes the Lynchburg MS in Counseling unique?

Our students can count on the value of extensive hands-on learning and faculty with a deep knowledge base.

  • Small by design. Get to know your professors and work closely with them to get the most out of your degree.
  • Experiential education with a minimum of 700 hours of clinical experience.
  • Graduates are eligible to become Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) in Virginia.

Lynchburg taught me that the main focus of counseling is the relationship with the student, so despite navigating a whole new virtual world during COVID, I was able to focus on the positives of fostering relationships with my students despite the lockdown.
