Lauren came to Lynchburg after attending a college far from home. When she started looking for a place to transfer, she was drawn to Lynchburg’s beautiful campus, opportunities for involvement, and focus on high-impact, engaged learning experiences like internships and studying abroad.

Chris transferred to Lynchburg from a Virginia community college. He liked it here so much that he enrolled in the Lynchburg Graduate Studies program immediately upon graduation. He’s currently working on a master’s degree in Science Education.

Lynchburg had the smoothest transition scenario for me. And as a Central Virginia Community College student, guaranteed transfer admission was awesome. The transfer programs Lynchburg has in place helped me meet other transfer students. We were able to talk and share our ideas and feelings about transitioning into our new life at Lynchburg.

Lynchburg has a funny way of revealing your own strengths to you without your even noticing. Suddenly, you realize you are changing into the person you always wanted to be.

My advice to students would be to seek every opportunity Lynchburg has to offer. Nothing’s more expensive than a missed opportunity.
